L.A. concerts for Sunday:

► The Empress of Soul, seven-time Grammy Award winner and Hall of Fame inductee Gladys Knight reigns at the Hollywood Bowl with the Kingdom Choir.
► Columbian reggaeton-Latin trap sensation Maluma headlines the second of two nights at the Forum behind his new album “11:11.”
► Tokyo alt-rockers Man With a Mission land at the Regent Theater during their world tour, bringing apocalyptic tunes from their new EP “Remember Me,” their new single “Dark Crow,” and doubtless many songs used as anime and video game theme songs.
► Doom metal purveyors Sunn O))) bring the darkness of their latest Steve Albini-produced album, “Pyroclasts,” to the Mayan Theater, with Papa M and Big Brave opening.
► Joseph the Spouse (aka Chris Sullivan) previews his debut album at Largo at the Coronet with cowriter Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), fellow Dawes members Griffin Goldsmith and Trevor Menear as well as  Jon Flaugher and Rachel Sullivan.
► For one last hurrah, 53 local musicians will descend upon Café NELA as the Last Orchestra Spectacular Choir (including members of the Gitane Demone Quartet) performing two works of Brian Eno for a matinee show. Jazz rockers Mushroom will close the show. Herbert will also play on the patio.
