Desert Daze announces daily lineups, Mystic Bazaar fare

Desert Daze has announced daily lineups for its eighth annual affair Oct. 10-13 at Lake Perris.

The Flaming Lips (performing “The Soft Bulletin”), Stereolab and Animal Collective highlight the Friday lineup, with Ween (performing “Chocolate & Cheese”), Devo (launching their “The Beginning of the End” tour) and Flying Lotus’ 3D show anchoring Saturday’s fare. Wu-Tang Clan (performing “Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)” Khruangbin, the Claypool Lenoon Delirium and Dungen perform on Sunday, with many more.

The festival has also added a live Q&A with Les Claypool and Sean Lennon, a screening of the new documentary “We Intend to Cause Havoc” with a W.I.T.C.H. Q&A and sets from Dead Meadow and Richard Rose.

Also the festival has laid out the menu for its Mystic Bazaar, a series of musical performances, rituals and assorted activities that take place in the festival’s campground. Included: “Late Night Experimentations,” which are performances by Jacco Gardner, Klaus Johann Grobe, Sessa, Beef (Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint and Boom Bip) and JJUUJJUU. The Bazaar fare also includes yoga, workshops, meditations and sound baths.
