L.A. concerts for Monday:

► The Above Ground concert benefiting MusiCares at the Fonda Theatre features Billy Idol, Jack Black, Perry Farrell & Etty Lau Farrell, Gavin Rossdale, Al Jourgensen, Steve Stevens and more. A rotating ensemble will tackle the Stooges’ first album and “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust.”
► Holy Wars heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by Hello Forever, Oh Rose and COTIS.
► With his third album “You” due to arrive in October, British singer-songwriter James Arthur does a sold-out show at the Troubadour, with Brynn Elliott supporting.
► And these excellent Monday night residencies continue: Talk Time at the Satellite (with Cuesta Loeb and MACK); T. Soomian at the Bootleg Theater (with Stereo Match, All Things Blue and Leche; Fell Runner at the Echo (with Pratley, Buck Meek and William Alexander); and Rain Phoenix at Zebulon (with SI Istwa and Frankel).
