L.A. concerts for Wednesday:
► Cage the Elephant headlines the Observatory in support of their new album, “Social Cues.” AJR opens.
► Japanese pop collagist Cornelius headlines the finale of the Twilight on the Pier series at the Santa Monica Pier. The free, all-ages night starts with Starro and TAIKOPROJECT.
► India Arie brings her soulful sounds to the Novo.
► Deadmau5, who will release a new remix album in a couple of weeks, kicks off a string of five sold-out nights at the Palladium, with I_O and Attlas supporting.
► MUNA does the first of two sold-out nights at the Lodge Room in support of their new album “Saves the World.” Chelsea Jade opens.
► Titus Andronicus rocks the Bootleg Theater behind their new album, “An Obelisk,” with Control Top supporting.
► Taylor McFerrin plays the Moroccan Lounge in support of his new album “Love and Distance.”
► And with their new album “Everything Else Has Gone Wrong” due to arrive in January, British rockers Bombay Bicycle Club visit the Glass House, with the Burning Hell opening.
