► The Tastes & Sounds Fall Crawl — a matinee of free music on South Lake Avenue in Pasadena, boasts performances from Ximena Sarinana, Ella Vos and Sunflower Bean. The music starts at 1 p.m.
► Tegan & Sara do a night at the Orpheum in support of their newly published memoir, “High School” and newly released album, “Hey, I’m Just Like You.”
► Deadmau5 does the fourth of five sold-out nights at the Palladium, with I_O and No Mana opening.
► Teenage singer-songwriter Mxmtoon does the first of two sold-out nights at the Roxy in support of her debut album “The Masquerade,” with Alexander 23 opening
► Montreal-based indie-rockers Half Moon Run, whose third album is on the way soon, headline the Teragram Ballroom, with Tim Baker supporting.
► And Day 2 of the Ohana Festival brings Eddie Vedder, Incubus, Glen Hansard, Mudhoney, Donavan Frankenreiter, Benjamin Booker, Laura Jane Grace & the Devouring Mothers, the Messthetics, Madison Ryann Ward, Paul Cauthen, Erin Ray and Jonny Roundhouse to Doheny State Beach. [Set times.]
