► Rüfüs Du Sol heads up a big (and sold-out) party at L.A. State Historic Park, joined by Bob Moses and Lastlings.
► The Morrissey/Interpol fall tour arrives at Irvine’s FivePoint Amphitheatre.
► Stiff Little Fingers, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut album “Inflammable Material,” rock the El Rey Theatre, with the Avengers supporting.
► Hiss Golden Messenger headline the Teragram Ballroom behind their album “Terms of Surrender,” with Daughter of Swords opening.
► With their new album “Death or Devotion” out since January, Colorado’s the Motet visit the Lodge Room, where Jennifer Hartswick and Nick Cassarino open.
► Swedish genre-mashers Movits! play an early show (6:30 doors) at the Echo in support of their latest album “V:II.” Talk Time opens.
► And two bands celebrate new albums tonight at the Hi Hat — Cat Scan play behind their debut album “In Nature,” and Susan mark the release of their debut “As I Was.” Traps PS is also on the lineup.
