Dead Can Dance to play ‘Dionysus’ and more at the Greek in May

In the wake of releasing their ninth studio album, “Dionysys,” last November and completing two European tours following, Dead Can Dance announce their upcoming career-spanning tour through the Americas, “A Celebration – Life & Works 1980-2020,” which will make a landing at the Greek Theatre on May 9 next year.

It will be the first time the British Australian duo Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry will appear in the Los Angeles area since playing Coachella in 2013 behind their album “Anastasis.” 

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. here. Danish singer-songwriter-composer Agnes Obel opens.
