► Social Distortion celebrates 40 years with a mini-festival at FivePoint Amphitheatre. The music kicks off this afternoon, featuring Joan Jett, the Distillers, the Kills, Frank Turner, Eagles of Death Metal, Black Lips, Plague Vendor, Bully and Mannequin Pussy.
► It’s Morrissey and Interpol at the Hollywood Bowl.
► The Moto Beach Classic brings Fishbone, Long Beach Dub All Stars, Law, Wargirl, Spirit Mother and Bent Duo to Bolsa Chica State Beach.
► Incubus rocks the Greek Theatre, with Elise Trouw opening.
► Tiger Army is back for a second night at the Wiltern, with 8 Kalacas and Wayne Hancock supporting.
► Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance visits the Fonda Theatre in support of his twin albums released this year, “From Muscle Shoals” and “To Memphis.” Ryan McMullan opens.
► Lucy Dacus plays the Teragram Ballroom, with Liza Anne and Sun June supporting.
► Mississippi quartet the Weeks headline the Hi Hat in support of their new album “Two Moons,” with Future Thieves and H.A.R.D. supporting.
► Ohio folk-rockers Saintseneca do a night at the Bootleg Theater, with A.O. Gerber opening.
