► The first night of the sold-out Growlers Beach Goth Halloween goes off at the Hollywood Palladium. Their new album “Natural Affair” just came out this week.
► Cold War Kids play a sold-out show at the Bootleg Theater in advance of Friday’s release of their seventh full-length, “New Age Norms 1.”
► Oh Sees rock the Teragram Ballroom behind their new album “Face Stabber.”
► And British indie-poppers Kero Kero Bonito visit the Fonda Theatre, with Lealani opening.
