Tame Impala has announced that its fourth album, “The Slow Rush,” will be released Feb. 14 via Interscope.
The album is described as a deep dive into the oceans of time. “A lot of the songs carry this idea of time passing, of seeing your life flash before your eyes, being able to see clearly your life from this point onwards,” mastermind Kevin Parker told the New York Times earlier this year. “I’m being swept by this notion of time passing. There’s something really intoxicating about it.”
The news follows this week’s release of the new single “It Might Be Time” and the announcement of three live dates in California, including March 10 at the Forum.
