L.A. concerts for Thursday:

Sleater-Kinney rocks the Hollywood Palladium in support of their new album, the St. Vincent-produced “The Center Won’t Hold.” KAINA opens.
Madonna does the second of her multi-night run at the Wiltern.
► Surprise, surprise: The Black Crowes do a surprise show at the Troubadour.
► Neo-soul trio Moonchild headlines the Fonda Theatre, with Kiefer supporting.
Sylvan Esso does the first of two special shows at Walt Disney Concert Hall — the duo is performing with an ensemble including Matt McCaughan (Bon Iver), Joe Westerlund (Megafaun), Meg Duffy (Hand Habits), Dev Gupta (Mr Twin Sister), Jenn Wasner (Wye Oak), Adam Schatz (Landlady), Alexandra Sauser-Monnig (Daughter of Swords) and Molly Sarlé. Hand Habits opens the night.
► Chicago rockers Twin Peaks take over the Teragram Ballroom in support of their new album “Lookout Low,” with Post Animal and Ohmme supporting.
Black Belt Eagle Scout headlines the Bootleg Theater in support of the new album “At the Party With My Brown Friends.” Hikes opens.
► And Ramonda Hammer heads up a night of loud-n-proud L.A. rockers at the Satellite, with Dead Soft and Dancing Tongues opening.
