► Slayer, winding up their final world tour, do the first of two nights at the Forum, joined by Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals.
► The Locust, back strong from a four-year hiatus, do a sold-out night at the Regent Theater, with Big Business and Geronimo supporting.
► Transviolet and ARMORS team up for their “Friendsgiving” show at the Troubadour, with the Griswolds opening the night.
► Reggae sextet Fortunate Youth do a night at the Teragram Ballroom, joined by Nattali Rize and Kash’d Out.
► Finnish metal quartet Ensiferum rocks the Echoplex, with Kalmah, Abigail Williams and Aenimus supporting.
