Devendra Banhart to perform at pop-up holiday event this weekend in DTLA

Singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart, whose latest album “Ma” came out this fall, will perform Saturday night as part of the two-day multimedia pop-up event “Other Flowers” in downtown Los Angeles.

The third annual Hauser & Wirth Holiday Market, at 901 E. 3rd St., will feature three musical performances each evening, along with more than 40 local creators, artists, educators, food vendors and representatives of local nonprofits. The experience will include paintings, photos and magic along with the retail and performances. More info here.

Banhart will give a special ticketed solo performance at 6 p.m. Saturday.

6 pm: Devendra Banhart (solo, ticketed)
