The Wild Honey Orchestra, the collective of artists that form the musical arm of the Wild Honey Foundation, will salute ’60s hitmakers and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Lovin’ Spoonful at their annual benefit show.

The concert, on Saturday, Feb. 29, at Glendale’s Alex Theatre, benefits the Autism Think Tank.

With musical direction from Rob Laufer, the Wild Honey crew has staged tributes to the Kinks, Buffalo Springfield, the Band, the Beach Boys, Big Star and the Beatles, among others. The shows invariably bring a host of guest singers to join the Wild Honey regulars: Elliot Easton of the Cars, Dennis Diken (Smithereens), guitar; Jim Laspesa (Brian Wilson/Dave Davies), drums; Derrick Anderson (the Bangles); David Goodstein, drums, vocals; Chris Price (Emitt Rhodes); Willie Aron, keyboards, vocals; Jordan Summers (Jakob Dylan) and Danny McGough (Tom Waits and more), keyboards; Kaitlin Wolfberg and Lyn Bertles, strings; Nick Vincent (vocals, drums); and Tara Austin and Nick Guzman (vocals).

Ticket presale begins at noon Wednesday, with the regular on-sale Friday, at the Alex Theatre’s website.
