Stream: Moses Sumney, ‘Polly’

Moses Sumney says his new single “Polly” is “about wishing you had a few more arms than you do.”

Maybe so, but Sumney comes well-armed to this sorrowful new ballad, not just with the multi-faceted instrument that is his voice but with layers of meaning. When you sort it, the single could just as easily be titled “Poly.”

The song is the latest from his double-album “Græ,” coming with Jagjaguwar Records, with the digital release coming in February and the physical copies available May 15.
