L.A. concerts for Saturday:

► The surviving members of Nirvana — Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear — will reunite for the first time since Cal Jam 2018 when Dave Grohl & Friends play tonight’s Heaven Is Rock & Roll Gala, a benefit for the Art of Elysium, at the Palladium. Marilyn Manson, Cheap Trick and L7 will also perform, Joining Grohl’s band will be Beck, St. Vincent and his daughter, Violet Grohl.
► The Redacted Fest brings Beach Bums, Ariel View and the Unending Thread to the Bootleg Theater, along with Yungatita, 100 Onces, Carter Ace, The Cozzmos, Alex Andre, Love Nothing, Max Ox, Good Boy, Phovea and Clit Kat.
► Night 2 of the Smell’s 22nd Anniversary features No Age, Ariel Rosenberg, John Wiese, Mitchell Brown, (Greg from) Deerhoof/Xiu Xiu, Dustin Wong, Brin, Le Face and Books on Tape.
► And Long Beach’s the Gems headline the first night of FOMO Week, the annual series of free shows kicking off the new year. The early show (5:30 p.m. doors) at the Echo also features Darkplay, Cape Weather and Harvey Trisdale.
