Pearl Jam have announced the March 27 release of their new album “Gigaton,” their 11th full-length and first since 2013.

“Making this record was a long journey,” Mike McCready says of the album. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on ‘Gigaton’ ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

With the album announcement comes news of a 16-date North American tour that brings Pearl Jam to the Forum on April 15 and 16.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 24, but presale tickets are available for members of the band’s Ten Club or by registering here through Ticketmaster Verified Fan. That registration closes Wednesday, Jan. 15, with the Verified Fan presale beginning at 10 a.m. Jan. 23.
