Courtney Barnett and more play the Palace Theatre on Valentine’s Day

Courtney Barnett is partnering with the Newport Folk Festival to hold a special show on Valentine’s Day at the Palace Theatre in downtown L.A. to benefit music education in local under-served communities.

The Melbourne-based indie-rocker, who recently organized shows raising funds for fire relief in Australia, will be joined by special guests and is curating a star-studded band to accompany.

It will be the final date on her North American solo tour, making a stop at Pappy & Harriet’s (the show is sold out) on Jan. 31, with Hachiku as support.

Tickets for the Feb. 14 go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
