The Desert Stars Festival has released a bunch of additions to the lineup for its March 27-28 event, which is being headlined both nights by Mercury Rev (who on Saturday will give what is being described as a “full-band intimate rendition” of their 1998 album “Deserter’s Songs”).

Notable additions include Austin shoegazers Ringo Deathstarr, psych-blues musician Ryley Walker, L.A.’s the Blank Tapes and British psych-rocker Twink, who will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of his album “Think Pink.” (Young fans might recognize a little of the latter’s music, as it has been sampled by Gnarls Barkley and Tyler, the Creator.)

The festival, Desert Stars’ 12th, will be held at the 500-cpaacity Desert Stars Outdoor Theater at 29 Palms Highway and El Reposo Cir. in the arts district of Joshua Tree.

Tickets are on sale now.
