Garage-punk cult heroes the Mummies, the Sonics acolytes from San Bruno and self-professed “Kings of Budget Rock,” will reunite (again, as they have sporadically over the years) to headline the return Burgerama, set for March 14 at the Echo and Echoplex. (The quartet is apparently working on a movie.)
The one-day, multi-stage event, which kicks off at noon, also features resurgent ’70s rockers the Hollywood Stars, along with the Bay Area’s Flamin’ Groovies and Apache (playing their final show) and L.A. luminaries such as Cosmonauts, the Tyde, the Side Eyes and the Memories, among many others.
Tickets for the all-ages event went on sale today.
