► Canadian rockers the Glorious Sons headline the El Rey Theatre, with DES ROCS and Matchstick Skeletons opening.
► Singer-songwriter JP Saxe celebrates the release of his new EP “Hold It Together” with a sold-out show at the Echo. VINCINT opens.
► Melbourne-based dream-pop artist Hachiku makes her L.A. debut with a show at the Bootleg Theater, with A.O. Gerber and Olivia Kaplan supporting.
CUP — the collaboration between Nels Cline and Yuka C. Honda of Cibo Matto — do a night at Zebulon, joined by Bobb Bruno (of Best Coast).
