L.A. shows for Thursday:
► Ezra Furman’s fifth solo album “Twelve Nudes” came out last year, followed by January’s release of the “Sex Education Original Soundtrack” (music composed for and that was played in the Netflix series). Furman headlines the Teragram Ballroom, with Kelley Stoltz and Jeff Garlin opening.
► Philly indie-rockers Dr. Dog headline the Novo, with Michael Nau opening.
► ZZ Ward continues her “Stardust Tour” with a sold-out night at the Troubadour. Patrick Droney opens.
► Latin Grammy-winning mariachi quartet Flor De Toloache visits the Lodge Room, with La Misa Negra supporting.
► Chido Chevere Cool brings Ximena Sariñana, MONOGEM and August Eve to the Paramount.
► Wax Charmer celebrate the release of their debut EP “Suburban Replay” with a show at Resident, with El Mañana and Claire George opening.
► Long Beach quartet Bundy rocks the Hi Hat — get there early for Bloody Death Skull and Fellow Robot.
► And Los Angeles College Radio Night features performances by É Arenas (of Chicano Batman), Fell Runner, Carter Ace, Your Angel and Ryan Pollie, among others — plus panel discussions/Q&As with radio professionals such as Anthony Valadez (KCRW), Toby Lynn (ALT98.7), Jason Kramer (KCRW), Kat Corbett (KROQ), Mike Savage (Tunecore, formerly of KLOS) and Marc “Mookie” Kaczor (88.5 FM).
