Fans of Philadelphia indie-rockers Dr. Dog could hardly have asked for more when the band played the Novo on Thursday night for the penultimate show of their winter tour.
Just a few nights removed from a four-day run in San Francisco during which they played a different set every night, Dr. Dog gave L.A. fans a long set that included songs from all but one of their 10 albums.
Michael Nau opened the night with a set of laid-back tunes, including some from his 2019 album “Less Ready to Go.”
