► The legendary Patti Smith and Her Band hold forth at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
► Wajatta — the duo of Reggie Watts and John Tejada, who just released their second album “Don’t Let Get You Down” — headline the 2020 opener of First Fridays at the Natural History Museum. French Vanilla and Café Molly also perform, and there will be DJs, a panel discussion and late gallery hours.
► Jonathan Wilson celebrates the release of his new album “Dixie Blur” with a show at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever, the first of two nights there. Get there early for Valley Queen.
► T.S.O.L., celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a weekend of shows, does the first of two nights at the Viper Room, supported by CH3, Killjoy and the Night Times.
► NO WIN [see “Same”] rocks Gold-Diggers, joined by On Drugs and Criminal Hygiene.
► Louisiana quintet Seratones visit the Bootleg Theater in support of their latest album “Power,” with Pet Dress opening.
► And Noah Gunderson, who just released “A Raven and a Dove” (acoustic picks from his 2019 album “Lover”), does the first of two nights at the Hotel Café.
