Country music star Kenny Rogers, the Country Music Hall of Famer who had 24 No. 1 hits, has died at age 81, his family announced.
Rogers passed away at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family, according to an announcement from his publicist.
The charismatic singer-songwriter had hits such as “The Gambler,” “Lady,” “Islands In The Stream,” “Lucille,” “She Believes In Me” and “Through the Years.” He was a three-time Grammy winner and the recipient of the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
