In a healthier world, you might be bumping the latest tracks from Duckwrth at a summertime party — or, in the case of “Find a Way,” getting your optimist’s blood pumping for the never-ending crusade for social justice.

The two singles from the South Central rapper’s forthcoming album “SuperGood” burst with sleek musicality and no small amount of unadulterated joy (for some of that, see an episode of the album’s docu-series).

“Find a Way,” released in late May, features Alex Mali, Radio Ahlee and BAYLI, with Mali setting the tone in the chorus with a soaring “We gonna have to find a way,” eventually leading to this verse from Duckwrth (born Jared Lee): “Some would say that I was savage / I was lost up in the madness / Popping bottles, chasing ratchets / Now I’m really ’bout that action / Dropping pins all on the atlas.” Radio Ahlee seals the deal with an uplifting final verse.

This month brought the colorful, fully animated video for “Find a Way” from directors Mark Rubbo and Chad Tennies, which stars stylized avatars of the principals.

Last week saw the release of Duckwrth’s “Coming Closer” (feat. G.L.A.M. and Julia Romana), a dance-floor jam with energy straight out of the early days of disco. Both the song and the video, directed by Grizlee Arts, bring a different kind of heat.
