In the interests of keeping you updated, here are short missives on new singles released last week from three artists we recently wrote more extensively about. Call this a “three-pack”:

COLD WAR KIDS, “Somewhere”

On the heels of “You Already Know” and “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now,” the L.A. quintet released the latest single from “New Age Norms 2,” the second of a three-album trilogy and their eighth overall. It’s out Aug. 21. Visuals come via Mezzy (Lil Peep: Everybody’s Everything, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboy Carti), who has created them for all eight tracks on the album.

DAWES, “St. Augustine at Night”

On the heels of “Who Do You Think You’re Talking To?,” the L.A. quartet released the second single from their forthcoming seventh album “Good Luck With Whatever,” arriving Oct. 2. “‘St. Augustine at Night’ is a song about one’s relationship to their hometown,” says frontman Taylor Goldsmith, “but also is a song about the varying degrees in which we all watch our lives pass us by.”

MATT COSTA, “Slow”

On the heels of “Avenal” “Jet Black Lake” and “Last Love Song,” the Southern California stalwart released the latest from his Alex Newport-produced album “Yellow Coat.” It’s his sixth full-length and out Sept. 11.
