The Independent 88.5 FM is in the middle of a brief August pop-pledge drive this weekend, so during tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show (or anytime, really), please consider becoming a contributing member, making a one-time pledge or renewing your membership to help us keep the music flowing. That station relies on listener donations to cover operating expenses, so go here to get on board.

Everyone who donates at any level during this drive is automatically entered in the Grand Prize Sweepstakes for an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop Pro Solidbody Electric Guitar, autographed by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (and 88.5 FM Saturday show host) Joe Walsh.

Plus, one donor per show will win a swag bundle that includes an 88.5 FM cap, face mask, travel mug, keychain, beverage koozie, lip balm, notepad, phone holder and earplugs.
