■ … Also tonight is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Due to the uncontrolled spread of the SARS-Cov2 virus, the program brought all participants together remotely to accept their honor. British synth-pop pioneers Depeche Mode gave a lighthearted acceptance speech with singer David Gahan, songwriter Martin Gore and all-around band wrangler Andy Fletcher giving a nod to original member Vince Clark, longtime member Alan Wilder, Mute label owner Daniel Miller, photographer/image stylist Anton Corbijn and the newer members and crew. 

 

Yesterday, journalist and documentary director David Farrier also moderated a pre-induction interview with all seven current Nine Inch Nails members (Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Chris Vrenna, Ilan Rubin, Robin Finck, Alessandro Cortini and Danny Lohner) in a Zoom interview broadcasted on social media channels.
