Join me at 9 tonight for the L.A. Buzz Bands Show on The Independent 88.5 FM — tonight will be the final time we bring you the local music hour on a Sunday.
That’s because, beginning Nov. 19, the L.A. Buzz Bands Show will be moving to Thursday nights. It’s true, after nine-plus years and 481 Sunday night shows on 88.5 FM, the program is moving to Thursdays, in the same 9 p.m. time slot.
Tonight, I’ll bid Sundays adieu with new music from Warbly Jets, Fredom Fry, Jazzie Young, Joyeur, Michael Penn, Kaz Mirblouk, Teenage Wrist, Georgia Hurd, Isla June, Paper Idol and more. So as I ponder what to do with a free weekend night, I invite you to tune in. If you’re out of FM range, click here to stream the show at 9.
