Can’t think of anyplace we’d rather confront an existential crisis than the Glendale Galleria.
“I think / therefore I am,” Billie Eilish proclaims as she raids various food vendors at the mall in her self-directed video for the new single “Therefore I Am.”
In between political campaigning and mounting her recent global livestream, the five-time Grammy-winner has been working on new music. “Therefore I Am” is due to get a big coming-out party when the 18-year-old performs it on Sunday, Nov. 22, on the American Music Awards. There’s also a documentary in the works; “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry,” directed by R.J. Cutler (“Belushi,” “The September Issue,” “The War Room”), will premiere in theaters and on Apple TV+ next February.
As for Eilish’s food run at the Galleria, we used to call this a “dine-and-dash.”
