■ This weekend is the 5th annual ARTE Concert Festival in France, produced by the fine curators behind La Blogotheque. This year, the festival beams worldwide online from La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris as well as from other remote locations, such as yesterday’s set by Matt Berninger (The National) from Apogee Studios in L.A. Joined by local stalwarts Sean O’Brien and Harrison Whitford, Berninger performed a four-song set from his solo album “Serpentine Prison,” released last month via Book Records. The session was directed by Nathalie Johns, engineered by Brandon Duncan, and mixed and mastered by François Clos.
