Inverted Jenny is the musical moniker of singer-songwriter Claire Epting, and her latest single, “Untitled Dream #3,” is a trip.

When you close your eyes and listen to “Untitled Dream #3,” it places you high up in the clouds. Drawing on feelings of intense isolation as the source of inspiration, this track sounds like something that would be playing during a vivid, surreal dream. One of those moments where you can’t tell if you’re dreaming or if the events are actually happening. Get the idea?

And believe it or not, the song was actually recorded in a garage studio. With its rich chorus guitars, hypnotizing vocals and entrancing synths, that might have been the last place you would have expected.

A native of Orange County, Epting is also an actor (having graduated from Chapman University’s film school), writer and photographer. “Untitled Dream #3″ is the follow-up to the 2019 EP, “Cosmic Crush: Demos” and is Inverted Jenny’s first new music this year.
