Maddie Ross got her engines running after a two-year absence last month when she released the single, “Vroom Vroom,” which extolled the virtues of being “alone with your thoughts and a vibrator,” she said.

Last week she returned with the kiss-off banger “Ears Bunny,” a bouncy, playful (under the circumstances) song about really being alone — as in dumped on the phone by her partner of six years. Produced and co-written by Doctor Rosen Rosen (Meg Myers), it’s a whirlwind of beats and emotion. “I hope this song makes people feel powerful, feel some catharsis, and maybe enjoy a little revenge with the twist in the final chorus,” Ross says.

In the interests of talking the hurt away, Ross has set up EarsBunny.com, where you can talk trash about your ex and hear others do the same.

Don’t forget to include who got to keep the dog.
