There’s a new concert behemoth in town — part of the developer’s wet dream that is the Hollywood Park complex in Inglewood and another pillar in the Live Nation entertainment empire.
The YouTube Theater, the SoFi Stadium-adjacent venue, was unveiled Monday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony ahead of its official opening Sept. 3, when it hosts a comedy festival.
The ultra-modern, high-tech facility boasts three levels and a capacity of 6,000, though curtains can partition the room to capacities of 4,400 and 3,400. It also features a private club with 140 premium seats, six 12-person luxury boxes, a special industry room, interior and exterior balconies and interactive digital wall, as well as a two-story mesh chandelier.
Upcoming concerts include Caifanes (Sept. 4), Pitbull (Sept. 22), Black Pumas (Sept. 23), Devo (Sept. 25), Juanes (Oct. 2), Evanescence (Nov. 10), Elvis Costello & the Imposters (Nov. 13) and Erasure (Feb. 26, 2022). See the full schedule here.
