Video: Double Wish, ‘Edge to Edge’

After debuting in May, multi-instrumentalist Adam Sabolick (ex-Mt. Ossa, ex-Union Line) and musician-producer Philippe Andre (Sir Sly, Zella Day) have continued to roll out music from their new project Double Wish.

“Edge to Edge” is the third single from the band, which in full bloom features Raff Dorian, Garet Powell and John Michael Wilson. Like “Sugary Plum” and “Fever Dream” that preceded it, it’s sophisticated, melancholic indie-rock in the vein of L.A. artists such as Slip and Low Hum. Here, Sabolick laments his own lack of self-control and bouts of recklessness, which, ultimately, leave him on “the edge of emptiness.”

Ryan Contreras directs the video for “Edge to Edge.” It’s set in the desert, as good a place as any to throw around some existential metaphors.
