Coachella 2022: Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Kanye West, Swedish House Mafia and more

Coachella, which has spent two years on the sidelines because of COVID-19, has announced the lineup for its two-weekend blowout, April 15-17 and April 22-24, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
It bears only some resemblance to what the promoters had planned for 2020.
The changes are notable for the top-liners: Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean are absent, with Ocean pushing his next stop in Indio to 2023 and Scott on the sidelines after the debacle at his Houston festival in November.
Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Kanye West (now billed as Ye) are the Friday-through-Sunday headliners. It’s Styles’ first appearance at Coachella; West will make his third main-stage appearance at the festival (he headlined in 2011 and performed a “Sunday Service” at the fest in 2019); and Eilish returns after she came up big in 2019 when she made her Coachella debut at the Outdoor Theatre.
House music faves Swedish House Mafia are billed on the flyer as “Returning to the Desert,” but it was not immediately which day they would perform.
Lil Baby, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Louis the Child, Flume , Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, Doja Cat, Joji, Run the Jewels and Maggie Rogers are among other artists billed as second-liners. (Calvin Harris, Thom Yorke and Lana Del Rey, who where scheduled as second-liners in 2020, won’t make it this year.)
There are some Weekend 2 tickets available. Register for the presale, starting at 10 a.m. Friday, here.
