Spill Tab and Ill Peach

The Natural History Museum’s popular First Friday series returns March 4 with an evening of music and science featuring performances by Spill Tab and Ill Peach playing on an outdoor stage.

The theme for 2022’s First Fridays — which will continue with events April 1, May 6, June 3 and July 1 — is “From Seeds to Psychedelics.” And it might grow on you. The opening-night topic is “Plants With Benefits,” featuring a discussion led by Dr. Yewande Pearse and featuring Dr. Beatriz Labate, anthropologist and executive director of Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines.

The night will also feature a DJ set from Lani Love and a pop-up performance from Pablo Gonzalez. Food and drinks will be available in the museum’s outdoor garden, and, as usual, the museum’s galleries will be open to explore after hours.

The event is free to Natural History Museum members. Tickets are $20 for non-members and available here.
