Waitlisted for Tropicália’s Besame Mucho Fest in December? Viva! Pomona organizers and Goldenvoice are bringing their inaugural Dodger Stadium mega event, Viva! LA Music Festival, to Dodger Stadium on Saturday, June 25, with J Balvin, Kali Uchis, Daddy Yankee, Becky G, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Carin León, Los Dos Carnales and El Fantasma headlining.
Also on the bill are Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Carla Morrison, Devendra Banhart, Chicano Batman, the Marías, Cuco, Omar Apollo, Lido Pimienta, the Red Pears, Los Bitchos, Shannon & the Clams, Tijuana Panthers, Beach Fossils, Sadgirl, Beach Goons, Gasolina Party, La Sonora Dimanita, Junior H and many more.
Tickets at the earliest price level begin at $199 plus fees for General Admission, $299 plus fees for General Admission+ (which includes GA+ priority entrance, lounges with additional food and drink vendors, and dedicated vendors), $499 for VIP (which includes exclusive access by the main stage, shaded areas with tables and seating, exclusive food and drink vendors, separate fast lane entry and dedicated restrooms), and $650 plus fees for VIP+ (which additionally includes exclusive lounges with cooling fans, complimentary water as well as beer and michelada tastings, air conditioned restrooms, first-come-first-serve lockers and specialty sponsor swag, and complimentary festival merch add-on).

What an odd bill. It’s like two concerts-in-one, appealing to the hip hop Latino demo, and the English-dominant Latinos who talk about bands not songs.
