The 27-year-old singer-songwriter has released a new song, “Sidelines.” Five things you should know about it: It’s a commission, penned for Hulu’s “Conversations With Friends” (premiering May 15), an adaptation of the Sally Rooney novel. It was co-written with Ruby Rain Henley and Bridgers’ go-to collaborator, Marshall Vore. It will be her only original release of 2022. It’s her grandfather riding a bull on the cover art. And Bridgers talks to her house plants.
