Stream: Ty Segall, ‘Hello, Hi’

The shine isn’t even off last August’s “Harmonizer” yet, but here is Ty Segall, greeting fans again, this time with a greeting.

With its spine-stiffening riffs and the prolific rocker singing in the nether reaches, “Hello, Hi” is the title track to Segall’s 14th full-length (not counting the various side projects and collaborations for which he is also known). The album releases July 22 via Drag City.

Unless you’re of the minority opinion that Segall is going to wake up one day and fail, nothing about “Hello, Hi” will surprise you. Celebrate accordingly.
