Echo & the Bunnymen postpone Cruel World fest appearance; here are this weekend’s set times

Echo & the Bunnymen won’t be appearing at this weekend’s Cruel World festival, which goes off Saturday and Sunday at Brookside at the Rose Bowl. Festival promoters Goldenvoice attributed the absence to visa delays and noted that the band “will be back at Cruel World 2023.”
Meanwhile, set times were announced for the festival, which features Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie and Devo, among many others — same lineup and same set times for both days. Here they are:
I don’t get why Morrissey is playing the “Outsiders” stage.
He should have his own stage, “Outsiders — STAY OUT!” stage. He and John Lydon can rant like old, rich, wankers about how miserable their privileged lives are, as 100 personal assistants bring them a Circle K’s worth of snacks. I think Lydon especially would be receptive to that.
