Eleven years ago this week, we posted the headline “L.A. Buzz Bands Show debuts tonight on 88.5 KCSN” … and holy blurred memories, time flies. With very few weeks off over the years, that makes tonight’s 11th-anniversary L.A. Buzz Bands Show the 560th local music hour I’ve been privileged to host.

For tonight’s show, I took about 50 or 60 songs from our best-of-the-year playlists from 2011 through 2021 and tossed them into a randomizer. And so tonight’s playlist includes tracks from prominent artists and some who are no longer around (at least in their original incarnation).
