Two don’t-miss shows coming to the Greek Theatre next month just got better, with the announcement of supporting bands for each night:

■ The Avalanches, coming off their massive appearances at Coachella and riding praise for their 2020 album “We Will Always Love You,” bring their cosmic show to the Greek on Thursday, Sept. 22. They will be joined by electronic music pioneers Thievery Corporation on their Outernational Tour 2022 and still wowing crowds 25 years after their debut album.

■ Bauhaus, who thrilled crowds at June’s Cruel World Festival, play the Greek on Thursday, Sept. 29. The post-punk legends — Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins and David J — will be joined by next-wave trio Automatic, whose futuristic motorik pop is on full display on their new album, “Excess.”
