After two years of being a Thursday night thing, the L.A. Buzz Bands Show, which launched 11-plus years ago as a true week-ender, tonight returns to making Sunday a fun day.
Tune in at 10 o’clock to 88.5 The SoCal Sound for the latest edition of the local music program. Tonight’s show boasts new music from Sunny War, Blondshell, the Steens, Loyal Lobos and Holly Blair, along with recent faves from Bleached, FIDLAR, Surf Curse, Drugdealer, Palms Station, Runnner and Isaac Watters. Plus, I’ll have a sneak preview of a new song being released next month by Giant Killer Bats. And for tonight’s flashback track, I’ll rewind 20 years for a song from indie-pop luminaries Aberdeen.
