Ears Wide Open: Kilo Bravo

Say hello to Kilo Bravo, the accidental, alternative group based out of Long Beach. What initially started as singer-songwriter Kris Butcher’s tinkering has transformed into a full-fledged rock band. Accompanied by Dave Pelusi on bass and Greg Anderson on the drums, the trio brings a refreshing blend of folk and blues to the Southern California music scene.
With Butcher manning the helm, the band has returned with a brand new single titled “The Tantrum.” Boasting a bold drum pattern, big guitar chords and sentimental vocals, “The Tantrum” is a groovy little track.
It’s the group’s first new music since the release of their debut full-length album, “Chew This Slow,” which came out in 2020 and features, “Baby Blue,” an upbeat rock tune that sounds like early Wilco, and “Don’t Count on Me,” a propulsive blues song.
