If androids dream of electric sheep, what populates the dreams of electric sheep? Possibly someone who looks like Sophie Meiers in the captivating video for “Okay w/ That.”

The singer-songwriter and visual artist collaborated with director Lindsey Nico Mann (Sylvan Esso, Teenage Wrist and Meiers’ “Let Me Breathe”) and cinematographer Paisley Zerr on the video.

Meiers will release a new EP, “Shine__Space” on May 26 via Epitaph. It’s the first of a trilogy, each installment of which embodies it own world. Digital starts things off.

Despite its robotic sound, “Okay w/ That” reveals a common human emotion. “It’s gut-wrenching knowing you care about somebody more than they care about you,” Meiers says. “The song is about being so consumed with love that you cave in, because you can’t help but love them anyways.”
