Goth-rock luminaries the Sisters of Mercy, touring the U.S. for the first time in 14 years, brought their industrial-strength music and light show to the Palladium on Monday.
There’s a second Palladium date next week, on Tuesday.
TSOM have not released an album since 1990 but remain a dynamic live force, with vocalist Andrew Eldritch supported by Ben Christo, Dylan Smith, Dave Creffield and his longtime drummer Doktor Avalanche.
Their set consisted of tracks from 1990’s “Vision Thing,” 1987’s “Floodland” and 1985’s “First and Last and Always,” along with assorted deep cuts.
