The SoCal Sound schedules 4 benefit shows this month

All-music public radio outlet The SoCal Sound (88.5 FM) has scheduled four intimate benefit shows this month, with proceeds benefiting the listener-supported station.

SYML and Slater kick the series off on Monday, June 12, at No Vacancy in Hollywood. Charlie Hickey and Cecilia Castleman perform June 19 at Knitting Factory NoHo, followed by Lo Moon on June 20 at No Vacancy and the Record Company with Sara Rogo and Sam Morrow on June 27 at No Vacancy. Tickets are $25.

The station is home for the past 12 years to the L.A. Buzz Bands Show, 88.5 FM’s local music hour.
