It’s the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer. Yet I have only one hour to share with you on the L.A. Bands Show on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org). Doesn’t seem fair, does it? Especially when you consider how much new L.A. music there is to play this week. Here’s how it breaks down: I have songs from the Cayucas and Jutty Ranx albums being released Tuesday; I have songs from the new EPs by Cassorla and Teenage Wrist; and I have the fresh singles from Superhumanoids, the Shelters, Gothic Tropic, Magic Bronson, NoMBe and Ofelia K. Plus tunes from the Janks and Alexa Melo, who are playing Chinatown Summer Nights next Saturday. Join me at 9 p.m., won’t you.
